FrescoEdits is an artist project, a label, a community.The man behind it is Nicola Daniele, dj from 1995 and already half ofthe duo NiCe7, djing worldwide from 2006.“I’ve been a big fan of “the art of sampling” for my whole life, I spent years studying how the biggest hits of nineties came from ’70 samples. I started a 200 copies VINYL ONLY project/label in 2019 , when I started to feel bad with my crazy dj- life, touring the whole world and sometimes playing music that I don’t really was in love with. I needed to be free from rules and do music for fun, the same fun I had when I started to make music.”With the label just arriving at the 10th volume in 2023 and his original music and remixes released on GLITTERBOX, BIG LOVE REC.,FULL TIME REC., FrescoEdits is among the most highly regarded artists in the disco house scene.
